Overview
NetMonitor Pro is a network monitoring and diagnostic tool for macOS. Your privacy matters. This app is designed to keep all data on your device.
Data Collection
NetMonitor Pro does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
All data generated by the app, including monitoring results, device discovery data, network measurements, and session records, is stored locally on your Mac using Apple's SwiftData framework.
Network Access
NetMonitor Pro accesses the network solely to perform the diagnostic functions you initiate:
- Monitoring checks (HTTP, ICMP, TCP) to targets you configure
- Device discovery via ARP and Bonjour on your local network
- Diagnostic tools (ping, traceroute, DNS lookup, WHOIS, port scanning, speed test) directed at hosts you specify
- Wake on LAN packets sent to devices you choose
No data from these operations is sent to the developer or any third party.
Local Network Companion
NetMonitor Pro can communicate with the NetMonitor iOS app over your local network for device pairing and data sync. This communication stays entirely within your local network.
Analytics & Tracking
NetMonitor Pro does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporting services, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Third-Party Services
NetMonitor Pro does not integrate with any third-party data services.
Data Storage
All app data is stored in your Mac's sandboxed container. You can delete all data by removing the app.
